Niemi’s fleet is fossil-free
Our entire fleet of vehicles runs on fossil-free fuels.
We have a total of 160 vehicles, of which 10% are electric, 25% run on biogas, and the remaining 65% on renewable diesel. Additionally, all our electric moving trucks have approximately 25 m2 of solar panels on the roof.
We use Neste MY renewable diesel, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared to regular diesel. Biogas is a renewable, 100% domestically sourced fuel.

Vehicles equipped for removals
We have Finland's most comprehensive vehicle fleet specifically equipped for removals. All of our vehicles are equipped with a tailgate. The walls of the cargo areas are padded in felt and the rails used to secure the cargo are embedded in the walls. This prevents the transported cargo from being scratched when it is loaded and unloaded.The cargo areas also have chandelier hooks and coathanger rails. Some of the large vehicles have side-opening cargo areas, as well as heating and electrical connections in the cargo areas. The electrical connection allows items such as freezers to be moved with the power on.
