Varied and diverse work in a good team
At Niemi, work is varied and diverse, and we employ around 1000 people. Every member of the team has an important role to play, and together we always strive to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Our most common jobs are mover, driver, fitter, as well as foreman and supervisor. We also have a number of other jobs in the warehouse and office.
MOVER
As a mover, you are part of the Niemi team, which implements a wide range of service projects. Your tasks will include protecting, packing and safely moving goods, and possibly small-scale furniture installations. You will work in customer service situations as a representative of Niemi.

You will be successful in the role if you are a team player, self-starter and have a good sense of proportion.
DRIVER
As a driver, you are responsible for the safe loading, tying and transport of customers’ goods. You will also be involved in moving the goods at the removal site and ensure that the job runs smoothly together with the team. You will take care of the cleanliness and minor maintenance of the modern removal truck.

You will be successful in your role if you are diligent, a team player and adaptable. A lorry licence is required, but lack of qualifications is not a barrier – we offer support to obtain one if needed.
FITTER
As a furniture fitter, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including the installation, removal and dismantling of office furniture, up to the most demanding projects. You will often work in pairs or teams, and success in this role requires good manual skills and knowledge of a variety of tools and materials.
