Niemi’s story in Tampere began in 2003 when Niemi bought the business of a local haulage contractor. Tampere was Niemi’s first regional office.
From a few people in Tampere at the beginning, we have grown to a unit employing around forty people daily, headed by Mikko Korri. Harri Heiskanen serves business customers, Jussi Sillgren logistics’ and site logistics’ customers.
Niemi’s first hybrid truck Eleni is in Tampere. In addition, there are five large trucks, all of which run on fossil-free biogas or Neste’s Mydiesel. In addition to these, Tampere has three small trucks, one van and two cars.
Niemi Tampere operates in the Pirkanmaa and Kanta-Häme region, where it is the market leader. Niemi Tampere offers a wide range of services, including domestic mones, business movings, logistics and site logistics.
Niemi Palvelut is the logistics partner of the Tampere Fair, among others.
