Niemi Helsinki

Niemi Helsinki is our largest office, and it serves the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and Uusimaa region extensively, offering the widest range of services to both business and consumer customers.

Niemi started in Vantaa in 1981 in the Niemi family garage. Since 1994, our premises have been located in Helsinki, and we moved to our current office on Paperitie in 2022.

The Helsinki office is headed by Niko Hietanen, Business Director, and employs hundreds of people every day. Consumer and business customers are served by teams offering expert and flexible service.

Our Helsinki office is also a pioneer in sustainability, with the world’s first Electra electric moving truck and three other fully electric moving trucks. All our vehicles run on fossil-free electricity, biogas or renewable diesel.

Our 12,300 square metre property is heated fossil-free by a new hybrid heating plant. The plant will reduce our annual Co2 emissions by around 230 tonnes.
