Niemi is taking major steps toward growth by acquiring two key service logistics providers in its sector and integrating them into the Niemi Group.
Today, we have reached an agreement with Martela on a business transaction whereby Martela’s relocation services business will be transferred to Niemi Services. In connection with the transaction, a cooperation agreement has been signed under which Niemi will serve as Martela’s nationwide moving services provider going forward. Martela will continue to provide installation services related to its furniture and work environments as it has done until now. Once implemented, this arrangement will strengthen Niemi’s service capabilities and enable smoother, nationwide moving services for all our corporate customers.
To strengthen our international services, we have entered into an agreement to acquire the share capital of Pegasus Moving Oy, a high-quality company specializing in international moves. Pegasus’s professional staff, together with Niemi’s current team, will form one of Finland’s leading international moving and service logistics providers.
As a result of the acquisitions, we will gain access to personnel, equipment, and tools. These acquisitions will significantly enhance our ability to serve our customers both nationally and internationally.
